Having purchased our 100 year old property we spent some time with Steve sharing ideas and options for internal re-design and total

refurbishment. We agreed the need for the whole property to be stripped back to brick and renewal of all electrical, plumbing and central heating system. He created four options for the interior all of which we were impressed with. Having settled on our preferred option, we left Steve to get on with planning, building control, submitting overall work specification to known quality builders for quotations. We were unable to live in the house due to the great amount of work , but Steve dealt with site visits and inspection of works every three weeks initially and then monthly. This was not a straightforward build but we always had full confidence in Steve’s ability to deal with problems as they arose and he maintained a good working relationship with our builder. Nothing is too much trouble for Steve, he was a pleasure to work with and we are delighted with the outcome. We would recommend him without hesitation, indeed he is now working on a project for one of our daughters.

Steve came up with some ideas for our house that we would never have imagined. His invention is as impressive as his services to clients and diligence in his output. Stephen is an architect who is a pleasure to work with in the development of a scheme. This is rare praise coming from a structural engineer. In my experience his projects are both imaginative and all importantly realistic.

Steve provided us with a number of design options for remodelling our semi-detached Edwardian house which involved replacing an existing conservatory with a larger glazed garden room with a sedum green roof and other internal alterations including new kitchen and utility area, extended master bedroom, 2 new bathrooms and extensive remodelling of the garden to raise it to the house floor level. Steve also managed the planning application process and provided extensive design and technical support throughout the project – including the selection of sub-contractors who were excellent. We are delighted with the result and couldn’t recommend Steve highly enough.

Steve has just finished our barn remodelling project for us. A brilliant concept which we are delighted with, which Steve skillfully guided through a tricky planning process. He produced a full set of working drawings, got building regulations approval, liaised with structural engineers and procured the builders. Stephen was able to interpret my brief in a very professional way and came up with a design that has proved to be .practical and spacious. He dealt with the contractors and building control during the construction process. The outcome has greatly enhanced the look and style of my property.

Steve successfully interpreted our ideas for a light-filled, family space in which we could entertain our growing family and friends. He designed our extension with great attention to the detail of what we wanted, liaised with building regs, builders and supervised with weekly visits to site. Engaged Steve to help us develop our ideas regarding a major extension project on our 1950s detached property. Steve presented us with a number of options and then took our feedback to help create a set of plans for submitting for building approval. He worked with us in selecting a builder and during a protracted process of revising the plans. I am probably the worst customer for getting into details but he never lost his good humour. Steve worked well with the builders and helped us iron out a number of issues.
